报告摘要 | In her presentation Ilaria will offer an overview of the Cell Press portfolio, with a particular focus on the physical sciences journals. Then introduce Chem Catalysis, the journal’s aims and scope, the editorial team and advisory board, and the content. Finally, Ilaria will present some tips on how to write a manuscript, introduce the editorial and peer review processes, and respond to any questions from the audience on the journal and the editor job. |
报告人简介 | Ilaria serves as the Editor-in-Chief for Chem Catalysis, a specialized journal under Cell Press that showcases pioneering research in various aspects of catalysis. Commencing her editorial journey in 2016, she was the inaugural member of the Chem team, appointed by the Editor-in-Chief to inaugurate the journal. In March 2020, Ilaria assumed the role of Editor-in-Chief for Chem Catalysis, overseeing the launch of Chem's premier field-focused journal. Preceding her foray into publishing, she held a postdoctoral position at the Getty Conservation Institute in Los Angeles. With a Ph.D. in chemistry, an MSc in materials science, and a bachelor’s degree in physics, her academic prowess is well-rounded. Drawing from her expansive knowledge in the physical sciences, particularly materials and physical chemistry, Ilaria adeptly manages a diverse array of papers for both Chem and Chem Catalysis. Possessing a strong academic background and extensive editorial skills, she shapes the strategy and editorial trajectory of Chem Catalysis, aiming to enhance the author experience and publish catalysis-related breakthroughs that drive meaningful progress within the community. |
