主要研究方向与成果:

长期从事同步辐射技术建设及其相关科学研究工作。在我国同步辐射大科学装置上,建立了时间分辨、表界面灵敏、原位实时等的X射线吸收谱学(XAFS)实验技术,解决了时间分辨原位XAFS实验方法的高信噪比数据信息采集的关键技术问题。近二十年来,引领并推动国内同步辐射XAFS研究领域走向国际先进行列,在国际上率先采用原位XAFS技术揭示能量转换过程中能源材料表界面的原子动态演变规律、金属原子团簇和纳米颗粒物质的初期生长机理等。2010年通讯作者发表论文入选中国科学院重大科技基础设施的重大研究成果,2019年通讯作者发表论文被评选为 “中国高等学校十大科技进展”,2021年主持的“能源材料表界面结构动态演变过程的原位同步辐射研究”成果获安徽省自然科学一等奖。检索近二十年国际“XAFS”领域发表的论文名列全球第二位,20192022年连续四年入选为科睿唯安全球“高被引科学家” 。迄今已发表通讯作者论文200余篇,包括: Nature 1篇、Nature Catalysis 1篇、Nature Nanotechnology 1篇、Nature Comm. 10篇、J. Am. Chem. Soc. 10篇、Angew. Chem. 12篇。
