主要从事物理有机化学和绿色有机合成化学研究。创制廉价金属络合物催化体系,提高催化转化效率和选择性。发展烯烃还原氢碳化,建立碳-碳偶联新模式;发展不对称自由基偶联和不对称氢金属化策略,发现系列不对称碳-碳偶联新反应。获2019年安徽省自然科学一等奖(第二完成人);获2021年安徽省自然科学基金杰青项目资助;入选2023年度中国科学院“青年创新促进会”会员;获2025年国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目(B类)资助;担任Science China Chemistry青年工作委员会委员;担任Green Synthesis and Catalysis青年编委;担任《有机化学》青年编委。
