本人研究领域为理论与计算化学,利用第一性原理计算方法,以发展下一代高速电子信息技术为导向,聚焦低维磁性材料和分子器件的功能设计,开展了系统深入的理论研究,先后取得了多项重要成果,包括提出并发展了一类自旋材料即双极磁性半导体(简称BMS),可实现直接通过门压控制载流子自旋方向,为自旋电调控难题提供了解决思路;提出了通过调控配体分子自旋态和轨道杂化设计室温磁性半导体的策略,实现了多个室温工作的分子基磁性半导体材料;揭示了周围环境单分子电荷态对分子器件电导的影响规律,在此基础上实现了单个氨基酸分子的电荷态识别。迄今已在包括Nat.Commun./Sci.Adv./JACS /ACIE/PRL等期刊发表第一/通讯作者论文38篇,包括 Nat.Commun. 1篇,Sci.Adv. 2篇,JACS 5篇,ACIE 2篇,PRL 1篇。
